Wearables

An overview of wearable devices and health platforms BodyFit integrates with, and what data each provides.

v1.0 Updated 4 Aug 2026

Why Wearables Matter

Wearables provide objective data about your body — heart rate, sleep, stress, activity, and recovery. This data makes your AI Coach smarter and your wellness insights more accurate. BodyFit turns fragmented wearable data into coherent, actionable coaching.

Supported Data Types

Depending on the device, BodyFit syncs: daily steps and activity, heart rate (resting, average, max), sleep stages and score, stress levels, body battery, workout activities with heart rate and calories, and body composition (where supported). Each integration page lists specific data types.

Connection Methods

Most integrations use OAuth — you authorise BodyFit to access your data from the provider. Some health platforms (Apple Health, Google Health Connect) may use direct on-device data sharing. We only request the data we need and you can revoke access at any time.

Choosing a Device

You do not need a wearable to use BodyFit, but one enhances your experience. Any Garmin device works with our live integration. For other platforms, check our integration pages for availability. Choose a device that tracks the metrics you care about — sleep and recovery data are particularly valuable for coaching.
